What is Cellular Memory?

by Imke Bieri, C.M.T.

Have you ever had a massage or body work session when your body encountered a sudden memory, flash back, or reminder of a past trauma?  This is a very common occurrence, because our body’s cells contain a memory of their own.

As it says in the Talmud, “We do not see things as they are, we see them as we are.”  This is because we are always looking through the world with the eyes of our constantly changing cellular memory.  Our physical, mental and emotional data comes from all our life experiences as well as genetic heritage.  Everything we experience is being imprinted into our cellular Hologram or collective energy field.  The moment we’re born, things happen to us in physical, emotional and spiritual ways, which create imprints which make us who we truly are, and bodywork can be used as a powerful tool to help transmute and transform painful experiences back to neutrality.  It can open the doors into other ways of seeing and being that help us to feel more comfortable in our selves.

I believe that our bodies are intelligent, integrated holograms.  Your body is actually a completely intelligent, integrated and individual hologram!  So, any imprint of one body, mind and spirit will effect the other.  In order to be successful in healing your body, your healing must address the hologram of body, mind, and spirit.

Cells are light and sound which hold physical, mental and emotional data.  We all know that our cells contain DNA, which is the ‘blueprint’ for the complete design of our physical body.  I believe that the cells also hold the ‘blueprint’ for our mental, emotional, and spiritual state.  They have the ability to remember all of who we have been in past lives, past generations, as well as all we have been in this lifetime, right up until the present moment.

The nature of our cells allows us to transform, because any changes made to our ‘body, mind, and spirit’ hologram have a profound effect in healing.  This happens because such changes affect our cellular memory.  With certain types of bodywork you can remove the unwanted data from your ‘hologram’ and exchange it for new imprints that will make you feel better on every level.  All of our bodies are designed to throw off patterns that no longer serve us and are always ready to integrate new patterns into our awareness.

How does cellular memory affect our health?  By default, our body is built to support health and harmony between all parts.  So, why do we get sick or stay ill for a long time?  I believe it is, in part, because our cellular memory’s nature contains positive emotional charges and negative emotional charges.  The PEC (positive emotional charge) is our soul’s birthright, and its natural state of being-ness.  I like to describe it as an energy field of life force- expanding, peaceful.  The NEC (negative emotional charge) is our human condition which can hold unprocessed traumatic experiences, negative beliefs about ourselves and emotions like anger, fear, guilt, and grief.  If our cell body gets out of balance and the NEC become too strong, it leads to a dysfunction in the human body/mind connection and physical self.

There are two levels of pain, the pain that you create now – and the pain of the past that still lives on in your mind and body.  Childhood trauma, and our environment contribute to this type of pain, and it creates a field that occupies your body, and mind.  A part of our cells start operating in a survival pattern based on something that is no longer real or current!

An example is a client of mine who has an old knee injury, and has been coming to see me to figure out why her knee still stiffens up when she moves it certain ways.  Together, we discovered that she was still very afraid that her knee would not hold her up, and once this was addressed and worked upon through bodywork, the stiffness has completely disappeared.  The imprint of her injury was still present in the emotional body, and her physical body paid the price.

I believe that healing fully means that we need to allow ourselves to look at all levels of imprints that injuries can cause.  Most of the time, we don’t like to deal with the pain-body because it hurts!  And we don’t even know how!  It’s hard to look at the accumulation of negative experiences that we’ve had on our lives.  Resistance and complaining don’t help.  Then we begin to get used to the idea that life causes suffering.

Pain in the body can be released when we transform our negative emotional cells.  If we acknowledge and allow our feelings – without judgment – to be expressed!  Bring awareness to your emotional and mental reality.  When you can accept what is happening now, it passes through you and doesn’t get ‘stuck’ affecting muscle tissue and other systems of the body.

Numerology

Numerology – by Patricia Schermerhorn

Few people are aware of the degree to which names and numbers influence all human consciousness. When we understand our innate strengths and weaknesses, we are more powerfully equipped to create a wonderful and gratifying life. Each of us deserves the means to do this. A specific in-depth numerology mapping reveals your talents, traits, life lessons, challenges, karmic issues/contracts, cycles, and the timing of key life events. Having a numerology chart is like discovering your personal report card and life blueprint.

Many people are surprised to learn that each letter of the alphabet carries its own vibrational information. Just as musical notes form a chord, the letters of our name form cyclical patterns that influence our entire lives. Our vibration and cyclical patterns are determined by the date of birth and our given birth name. By understanding these cycles, we can effectively express our unique potential, both human and divine.

If you know your numbers, you are then able to understand your life from a unique perspective and begin manifesting your highest potential. Knowledge is power. Understanding your numbers will illuminate both your challenges and strengths, allowing you to make wise life choices.

Hand Analysis and Personality Traits by Kim Heine

I was trained to believe that 'if it's in your hands, it's in your life.'  Everything matters when I'm reading a pair if hands....everything from scars, warts, and injuries to the length of the lines in your hand.

Combining the science and mythology with what is seen in people's hands is what fascinates me most...everything tells a story.  Fingerprint patterns, where they're located and what type of design each one holds is like unlocking potential, magnifying personality, and letting me in on aspects of personality that are very similar but different than information I receive from other modalities.

What are people's strong suits?  Leadership, organization, creativity, speaking, getting results?  Are they 'head' types, or 'heart' types?  Worrier, warrior, pacifist?  What kind of partner is a good fit?

These are the types of topics and issues I discuss with people.  Life lesson, life purpose, what you're here to learn ... that's the purpose of a hand reading and hand analysis from me.  Please visit International Institute for Hand Analysis if you'd like to find out more information on the school, classes, readers in your area, or how I was trained.

 Enjoy the journey.

Aromatherapy, History, and Application - by Ruah Bull, Ph.D.

Aromatherapy in Five Dimensions, by Ruah  Bull, Ph.D.

 Body * Heart * Mind * Energy * Spirit

 Introduction

Aromatherapy is an ancient form of plant medicine that utilizes fragrant, volatile plant oils to promote wholebeing wellness. The oils are produced from various parts of the plants, including root, bark, leaf, rind, sap and flower. Some very generous plants offer us a variety of oils from different parts-for example, Bitter Orange produces orange oil from its fruit, pettigrain from its leaves, and neroli from its flowers.  The finest oils, the ones produced for therapeutics, must be properly grown and harvested. They must also be extracted properly. Distillation is the most common form of extraction, and it must be done at the right time of the season, slowly, and with the lowest possible heat.

 Quality

Because aromatherapy is not regulated in the United Staes, there are many grades of oil that are available, many of which are NOT therapeutic.Oils can be organic wild-crafted, organic farmed, regular farmed, mixed species/adulterated, mixed natural and synthetic, and wholly synthetic. For therapeutics, ONLY use the organic, and some of the regular farmed (good companies will have personal relationships with the farmers and will determine what types of regular farming meet strict standards). In the case of citrus oils, be sure you only purchase organic, as the oil is compressed from the rind, and  fruit rind will contain any chemicals used in the farming. Be sure you work with brands of oils that are created for therapeutics, as many inferior oils are on the market.

  Applications-The Five Dimensions

Essential oils are holistic. Although most people in the US are primarily familiar with their physical benefits, in fact most of the oils work in five dimensions-the physical, emotional, mental/cognitive, energetic, and spiritual. For example, Lavender heals burns, cools anger, reduces anxiety, balances the chakras, and assists in meditation! You can work with one area at a time-or use your intention to address several at once . For example, use lavender to both cool a burn and reduce fear about the burn, and move into a chakra meditation in which you ask for information about the burn.....click here to read more

Ghosts, Spirits and the Thinning of the Veil by Kim Heine

Well, we certainly live in incredible times, don't we?  Everyone is talking about the fact that everything is moving so quickly that it's really hard to even catch your breath much less anything else.  Busy, chaotic, dramatic, fast, faster...FASTER!!!  Instant gratification, NOW.  We all feel it on this 'human' level, but what is this new level of daily human (in the United States) living doing to the energy of our environment?

I think that the level of 'distance' between this world, and other worlds, is changing in relation to the reality that WE are changing so dramatically.  The distance between these levels has often been referred to 'the veil' by multiple metaphysicians and authors.  I'm just borrowing the phrase, but it's evidence is clear and lately, somewhat overwhelming to people in my local community.

Seeing a ghost, be it a 'stuck' memory of energy, or a spirit person able to interact with us is only one way of making itself known.  That is clairvoyance.  Recently, I have heard of more and more people having their first clairvoyant experience, whether they asked for it or not.  Also, you can 'hear' a voice when you know no one else is around...that is clairaudience.  Have you ever been driving in your car, or falling asleep, and you just 'hear' a message in your head, from a voice that wasn't your own?  These experiences are also becoming for frequent.  Then there is the 'knowing' you're not alone.  You're sure something is there, and you can't see it with your eyes, but you get a very clear knowing...claircognizance.  What about when you feel an emotion related to a place or object that you know doesn't make any sense, but you can't avoid the feeling ... the truth in your gut.  That's clairsentience.  I know there is a 'clair' word also associated with smell...but I'm blanking on the special word right now!  Remind me, I'll find it.... OH...Clairolfaction!!

So, if the differences between living energy intervals is decreasing, and we can feel/see/know/smell/ and hear that this is true - for ourselves - what is going on?  Why?  Should we be afraid?

I have faith is Spirit, that creates a belief in my heart of hearts that there really is nothing to fear.  I think this is an answer to current mass consciousness (just my opinion by the way) combined with the fact that this planet is going through massive changes (both physical and energetically) on her own.  As humans, whether in spirit or in physical form, are curious, loving, energy beings.  If pathways are being forged on this side, to help answer questions on this side ... why not go and answer the call?

I've seen spirits since I was 17 years old.  It began the night my Nana died, when I saw the outline of the figure of a petite woman with a big hat at the foot of my bed.  I knew she was in the hospital, dying of 'failure to thrive' at the ripe young age of 96.  I wasn't even scared, I just thought "Oh, there's Nana, she's checking on me and saying goodbye."  We received the phone call the next morning that she had passed away in the middle of the night.

That has progressed to seeing spirits very frequently.  Am I special and unique...???  I don't know, I kind of doubt it re: the special part...but I'm definitely unique!  Some can kind of be a bother, just like people.  LOL  Some kind be beautiful, just like people.  I think most are just 'living life' around us, and some sensitivities tap into that more readily.  You can enhance your own, if you want to ... remember not to limit your possibilities ...

The Meaning of Missing Numbers in Numerology - by Patricia Schermerhorn

THE MISSING NUMBERS 1-9

Numerology is based on the understanding that we enter life with certain strengths and weaknesses.  Missing Numbers are areas that we are currently weak in and must befaced and worked on in this life.  However, once embraced and understood they become like angels waiting in the wings.  They become your strengths.  (Missing Numbers or Karmic Lessons are indicated by the absence of certain numbers in your name).

There are many facets to a missing number.  The following is just my observation of some numerical puzzle parts that require additional wholesome life force and understanding.

 MISSING #1

Standing alone without fear is being asked of you.  Understanding your creative intelligence and how to serve the larger order as a leader.  The person must be able to stand tall in who they are without losing the connection with unity.  This is the number that understands the God Force at its best.  Hence the abilities of creativity and innovation. This is the number that demands the ego room for attention and is required.  The 1 is majestic because it knows of its divinity.  The fearlessness that is actually innate in a 1 means dedication to your beliefs without question and a deep knowing of what is so.  Without the later, the ego will take you out of purity into a density of discontent.  The 1 leads because it knows it can and questions not why.

MISSING #2

Softness and a gentle loving persuasion comes alive in the number 2.  This is the number that awakens the divine heart.  It’s a mighty force that often goes unnoticed because of its gentleness and lack of competition.  It wants only to connect and come to the Peace of the matter.  All numbers call for balance but the 2 is the balance of yin/yang made known.  A most difficult number to master because of its ability to see Truth and yet it is Truth a missing 2 fears most.  Without the 2 there is no harmony in opposites.  It shines light while healing and is often hidden until it is needed.

MISSING #3

The 3 comes to create and is the force field of communication on many levels.  Its constant companion is its own voice and it needs to vent through expression.  3s are able to receive and share, and creativity is brought into focus.  There is a fear of Being that hinders the missing 3 because it knows it must create and can’t because the force field is blocked by egoic considerations.  The balance comes in the freedom of release, surrender and acceptance of the individual’s sacred blueprint.  To know they are not like any other.  The 3 fears itself because it demands more than is possible rather than accepting the uniqueness of their eternal being.  The consequences are felt in the throat and hands where expression is blocked.  Spontaneous response is needed without care to make the 3 come alive for it wants to sing and sing it must.

MISSING #4

The 4 is single-minded and when missing the ability to stay focused and centered is eluded.  The 4 knows most right from wrong and true honesty, and yet cannot escape the dual knowing when missing.  It’s gifts are enormous when properly utilized.  The real meaning of Zen falls lost to a missing 4.  One must learn the NOW moment like no other.  Lost in creation is its highest calling.  Thorough enjoyment of the task at hand.  An ability to work and love the work no matter what comes before them.  There is no drudgery to the real ability of the 4.  They master purpose and enjoy the process.  A rut occurs when the 4 is lost in routine rather than the creative movement of Being.  The 4 knows how to accomplish and being productive is part of its genius.  However, when the 4 is not available the ability to live in freedom is often denied.

 MISSING #5

We come to play the game and the game is played through life experience.  There is no one keeping score and the 5 knows this and can play effectively without rules.  They adhere to living the experience and when mastered stems the point of life itself.  Yet when missing there is denial of experience period.  A self-imposed prison that hinders the objective to the game.  They choose the narrow road because they fear the freeway.  This keeps them tied to the same occurrence until it becomes unbearable and they want more.  It is desire that sets the course to the new and untried.  A missing 5 will avoid what the soul wants to learn.  Life will give them just that… experience; and to the degree they are capable of learning without attachment they will thrive.  We are players and players must play in order to evolve.  Being a spectator watching life go by keeps us in repetitive bondage.  Participating lets you know that indeed you are alive.

MISSING #6

A missing 6 holds onto the dream, the picture, the essence of beauty and loses sight of reality.  The blinders are not blinders but a corridor to the possible.  The missing 6 has to no real reference because the ideal is the reality and does not exist yet.  It shatters itself rather than accepts the beauty of the NOW where all is given.  The 6 must learn to accept and love the being that they are with all the zits.  It holds magic when it uses its power for beauty no matter what.  6 knows how Love really works but when it is denied to the self the real beauty cannot be captured, just dreamt.

MISSING #7

Faith is the path of least resistance and to acquire Faith takes a leap of Faith.  It is ‘Knowing’ that opens the door to real faith and when the 7 is missing one lives in a state of unknowing and believes that if they cannot see it, feel it or be it, it must not be real.  There is great fear of everything without a 7.  The ability to overcome any obstacle or face any challenge requires at least the faith the size of a mustard seed.  Yet those that cannot embrace the real meaning of Faith as Knowingness, is lost until their resistance to What Is becomes knowledge to them.  Study of the unknown is necessary to achieve Faith coupled with life altering experiences.  A 7 helps us to overcome our fears and the final realization that there is nothing to fear.  It help us to remember our birthright, our divinity, our love.  It brings us home to ‘Oneness’.

MISSING #8

This is a sign of not understanding VALUE.  Essentially it is based on lifetimes where too much or too little is experienced in the material world and felt deeply but not understood.  It calls for balance and the ability to delegate in fairness to ALL.  To understand the value of energy one must have a clear understanding of the connection between heaven and earth.  An ability to master and honor ‘as above, so below’ in all forms.  A missing 8 isn’t capable of real discernment and consequently has difficulty maintaining achievement in the world.  They abuse the power they think they have.  If the connection between life itself is broken so is the connection to their God-head.  A missing 8 can be stubbornly misinformed by its own nature because the connection to God is inadequate.  Their ego power has eluded their divine purpose.

MISSING #9

The 9 represents Oneness and without Oneness life does not exist.  A missing 9 requires the heart chakra to open for humanity and the realization that there is no separation.  A remote discontent is present from lack of love, including love of self.  The imagination is stunted and there is lack of beauty recognition from within the soul.  Compassion is being humbly addressed here for without compassion, forgiveness is not an option.  Life will put you into a position where the heart can open and enable you to be fully vested in serving humanity at large.  Being of service is granted and when giving becomes equal to receiving you are awakened and Oneness is recognized and lived in joy.

NO MISSING NUMBERS

When no numbers are missing there is recognition of all aspects of life.  No door is closed and you have the ability to choose with wisdom.  You now have the responsibility of living up to what you know for guidance is on your shoulders and Spirit expects more from you. Having to deal with all numbers is like having all your switchboard lights ON and you can’t decide which to answer first.  The key is ‘surrendering’ for in surrendering which is another form of ‘allowing’ your soul takes over because you are now able to live in your soul.  You can now receive high definition communication at various levels of knowing.  This aspect does not indicate an older soul but one who has graduated through a vortex of 1-9 and is ready to take the light elevator to the next floor knowing the levels are infinite in number.  You now have the ability to go deeper, wider, higher, stronger, and wiser in your field of awareness.  It’s simply an indication you have earned a broader understanding of life itself and you are to use this understanding in LOVE only.

Reiki and Quantum Touch, an Overview - by Kim Heine

I am a Certified Reiki Master, and a Quantum Touch Practioner.  I use both of these subtle energies to balance people, mind/body/soul and the connection of that sacred trinity.

A bit on Astrology and Financial Astrology  - by Sheila Clark

SHEILA K. CLARK
NOTES ON ASTROLOGY

Sheila Clark has studied Astrology for over 20 years. She started , as most people do, with the basics - What does it mean to me? Who am I? Why am I here?

She has continued to study the complexities of Astrology and now incorporates “Financial Astrology” into her Accounting and Investing practice.

The signatures of the planets, sun and moon of our solar system resonate with their placement in our natal charts and in the “Natal” charts of our country and institutions that govern our lives. If you pay attention to what’s going on in your own particular “Birth Chart” and in the movements of the planets in the BIG picture, I believe that you will have a deeper understanding of “Reality” and our place in this time.

We are all co-creating life and the more knowledge we possess, the clearer the path before us will be.

Acupuncture - What Is It & How Does It Work? by Dr. Harold Itokazu

What is Traditional Oriental Medicine (TOM)?

Traditional Oriental Medicine (TOM) is the use of traditional healing modalities such as Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Tui Na massage therapy and a few martial arts like Qi Kung and Tai Chi. The origins of TOM are dated as far back as 5,000 years.

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture originated in China over 2,000 years ago, and is the world's oldest continuously practiced medical system. In the U.S., acupuncture has been available since 1972 when President Nixon witnessed a successful appendectomy using acupuncture for anesthesia. All told, acupuncture is used by nearly one-third of the world as a primary health care system and many more as an adjunctive therapy. The fundamental  principles of acupuncture and TOM are to treat the perso nas an integrated whole in body, mind, and spirit, and to remedy the root cause of illness and disease, not only the symptoms.

Although well known in the U.S. for pain relief, acupuncture is effective for a wide variety of problems. It has been endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO) of the United Nations and the National Institute of Health (NIH). These bodies have declared acupuncture an effective treatment for the following conditions:
  •  AddictionsArthritis

  • Back pain

  • Chemotherapy nausea
  • Depression

  • Digestive Problems (ulcers, nausea, gastritis, irritable Bowel)

  • Ear problems

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Headaches (Migraine, tension)

  • Infections (cold, flu)

  • Insomnia

  • Menstrual & female problems

  • Muscle & joint pain (tendonitis, bursitis, sprains)

  • Post-op dental pain

  • Sinusitis

  • Skin Disorders

  • Stroke rehabilitation

  • Urinary problems, and more!

How Does Acupuncture Work?

Most health problems are caused by imbalances in the body.  Acupuncture and TOM focus on fixing the imbalance so the body can begin to heal itself.  When the imbalance occurs, symptoms  -  the body's distress signals warning there is a problem  -  begin to arise.  If the underlying problem or imbalance is not addressed, very likely sooner or later more serious illnesses or disease affecting your physical body, your mental clarity, your sense of joy in living, or your sense of purpose may show up.

By restoring the balance in your body, acupuncture and TOM can provide the key to unlock your own body's natural ability to heal itself.  This can be done without any of the side effects that one may experience from pharmacological drugs or more invasive procedures.

There are approximately 365 points on the body and many more located on the ears.  Ear (or auricular) acupuncture is another system that the acupuncturist can use to benefit other areas in the body. Auricular acupuncture is well documented to help relieve pain and stress as well as to help the body adjust to the removal of harmful chemicals from your body. It is widely used to help people stop smoking or the use of other recreational and pharmaceutical drugs.

Microcurrent electrical stimulation can also be used to relieve pain and stimulate healing. Microcurrent stimulation could be placed directly on an acupuncture needle or through probes which allows the benefit of TOM and acupuncture theory without the use of needles.
